THE SELENA PHILOSOPHY

Selena’s mission has been to develop a residence concept to meet the needs of a clientele with memory difficulties who may also have physical limitations. The Selena’s team is inspired by international best practices to ensure a humane approach to care. This method promotes autonomy as well as social interaction while respecting the individual rhythm of each resident.

Parents, caregivers, and volunteers are key players in our relationship with the residents. They are encouraged to be present and to share their loved one’s life story to help the team build a comprehensive care and stimulation plan. There is no doubt that it is by communicating and working together that we will succeed in improving the quality of life of the resident.
